About this project
A static recompilation of the US DS game into a native Windows program, built on your PC from your own ROM, with the DS hardware rebuilt around the game's code and names from the DQIX decompilation project. Classic mode matches a real DS pixel for pixel and plays from beginning to end without noticeable bugs; Enhanced mode adds widescreen, 3D at up to 12x resolution, screens side by side or in two windows and analog walking, and is still being polished. Tag mode and co-op work over the internet for up to four players, and the downloadable quests are back.
What you need
Your own US Dragon Quest IX ROM, and Windows 10 or 11 64-bit with about 3 GB free.
