R.E.L.I.V.E.
AliveTeam
R.E.L.I.V.E.: a fan-made engine replacement for the PC versions of Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus, decompiled function by function from the original executables. It runs both natively on modern Windows, Linux and macOS with no DxWnd or other workarounds, at your monitor's resolution with smoothing, stretching and fullscreen toggles, plug-in gamepad support, and fixes for many of the original's crashes and bugs. A new level editor replaces Paul's Level Editor for modders. Exoddus also gets quicksave and quickload on F5 and F6. Both games are playable, though bugs and crashes from the new engine can still turn up. The Abe HD mod needs its own build.
Your own PC copy of Abe's Exoddus (from Steam or GOG, for example); R.E.L.I.V.E. replaces only the game's program.
