Decompilation
About this project

A native port built from the Pilotwings 64 decompilation, with its platform layer written in Rust: setup fetches the open-source decomp and compiles it on your machine from your own ROM, with no emulator. Widescreen up to 21:9, your monitor's full refresh rate (144 Hz and beyond), rebindable controls, an in-game settings menu and a new two-player split-screen mode with every vehicle. Windows and Linux, with experimental Android and iOS builds. Its author directed AI coding agents to build it.

N64Recomp
About this project

Native Windows and Linux port by static recompilation with N64Recomp. A separate project from the other Pilotwings 64 recomp already in the catalog. It adds widescreen at your display’s aspect ratio with the HUD at the edges, a high frame rate through matrix interpolation, no black overscan border, and instant screen transitions where the original stalled for up to six seconds. Its author states it’s AI-coded.

What you need

Your own Pilotwings 64 dump (N64, US version).
