About this projectA native port of the 1993 Macintosh version: its 68k code was decompiled with Ghidra and translated function by function into C, running on a reimplementation of the classic Mac Toolbox over SDL. Each ported function is checked against the original code running side by side, and whole levels against the original game. Adds save states with pictures, rewind, an on-screen menu, per-level statistics, controllers, sharp-pixel and CRT views, and optional cheats. For Apple silicon Macs, Linux, Raspberry Pi, Recalbox and retro handhelds through PortMaster; no Windows build.
What you needA disk image of your own Macintosh Prince of Persia 2 (floppy, CD or hard disk; most image formats work). On a Mac, Apple silicon and macOS 12 or later.
